                           Healthcare Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities: Clerical Duties. Also known as medical services managers or health care executives, health care administrators manage the administrative tasks of hospitals, medical laboratories, physician practices and other health care facilities.

Salary: The average salary for healthcare administrators was $103,700 in May 2014, the BLS said. Average pay for administrators in hospitals was $110,800, while those in doctors' offices averaged $103,000.

Education: Many higher-level health care administration executives have a master's degree in a field such as public health or business, hospital or nursing administration. A bachelor's degree is often sufficient for entry-level positions, or for employment with smaller facilities when coupled with relevant health care experience.

Demand or need for this profession: Employment of medical and health services managers is projected to grow 17 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations. As the large baby-boom population ages and people remain active later in life, the healthcare industry as a whole will see an increase in the demand for medical services.

Duties and Responsibilities: Team has a select group of highly trained officers who are called Snipers. A deployed Sniper Team is the eyes of the S.W.A.T. ... The primary responsibilities of a Sniper Team are to protect the public and other S.W.A.T. Team members, and to gather details and information from its vantage point.

Education: Some community colleges offer tactical law enforcement classes and programs. These programs cover areas such as self-defense, firearms training, tactical operations, search and seizure and tactical report writing. A few colleges also offer police academy training programs, while some private industry associations offer SWAT training programs.

Demand for this particular career: There's a lot of mystery and mystique surrounding SWAT teams around the world.  These highly trained, elite law enforcement specialty units have at their disposal a host of tools and tactics to make them ready for the most dangerous and volatile of situations that may require police action. You might even call them the Navy SEALS of policing, which is why any police officer who is honest with themselves will likely admit that they've had dreams of making the team at some point in  their career.
