Yoga Therapist 

Duties and Responsibilities: Integrative yoga therapists plan workout regiments, teach integrative yoga to clients, and keep their clients healthy and safe. They must possess a 200-hour basic certification in order to teach in a group setting. A professional certification is recommended for integrative yoga therapists to open their own private practice. 

Salary: The salary Those in the lowest 10 percent earn $18,690. The job outlook for yoga therapists is good, with salary growth expected to grow by 24 percent through 2020 which is faster than average. 

Education: Yoga therapists are well-trained in many areas of health therapy, healing and overall wellness. Schools of yoga train from many different perspectives. Some may include separate study of Ayurveda, although this provides additional knowledge and isn't required to become a yoga therapist. 

Demand or need for this profession: Apart from working at a yoga studio or opening their own private practice, instructors are hired at most gyms to teach classes. Many schools hire instructors to teach during PE or in after school programs, and hospitals hire yoga instructors to help with physical therapy. Many large businesses have begun hiring instructors to teach yoga to keep employees active and healthy.
